How do I play MingleTrivia?

One player hosts a game and picks a trivia pack. Each player gets a unique question displayed as an AR face card floating above their head through face tracking. Walk around, scan other players' QR codes to collect answer options. First to answer correctly wins the round! The whole game runs peer-to-peer via Bluetooth — no internet needed.

What devices are supported?

MingleTrivia requires an iPhone running iOS 16 or later. For the full AR face card experience, you need an iPhone with Face ID (iPhone X or newer). iPhones without Face ID can still play using a basic card mode without AR tracking.

Do I need internet to play?

No! MingleTrivia uses Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework to connect players directly via Bluetooth and local WiFi. Once everyone has the app installed, you can play anywhere — no internet connection required.

How do I create a custom trivia pack?

There are two ways: (1) AI Generation — describe a topic and our AI creates a custom pack instantly. (2) Doc-to-Trivia — upload a PDF or Word document (textbook chapter, study guide, training manual) and AI generates trivia questions from it. Both features require AI credits (included with Plus and Pro subscriptions).

How do subscriptions work?

MingleTrivia offers three tiers: Free (access to select packs), Plus ($4.99/month — all packs + 10 AI credits/month), and Pro ($9.99/month — everything + 25 AI credits + Doc-to-Trivia). Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. You can cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings > Subscriptions.

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the MingleTrivia purchase, and follow the prompts. Apple handles all refund decisions.

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. AR face tracking data is processed entirely on your device and never leaves your phone. Game data stays between players via encrypted peer-to-peer connections. We don't sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
