This Cookie Policy describes the browser storage used by mingletrivia.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What we use today
The site uses PostHog for pseudonymous product analytics, but that analytics does not set a cookie: it runs with memory-only persistence, so no analytics identifier is written to your browser and nothing persists past the current tab. IP addresses are anonymized and session recording is off. The site does not deploy advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and does not sell or share your data. It stores two necessary local-browser preferences: whether you have acknowledged the website-storage notice, and whether you have opted out of analytics. On pages with a sign-up form, it also uses Google reCAPTCHA to keep automated spam out of the waitlist and beta sign-ups. reCAPTCHA loads only after you start filling in a form, and Google may then set its own security cookie.

How to change the choice
Select the reset control below or clear site data in your browser, or visit Privacy Settings to opt out of analytics. Google’s reCAPTCHA cookie is managed in your browser’s settings for google.com. Blocking it may prevent the sign-up forms from working. Resetting only changes this browser’s stored acknowledgment; it does not unsubscribe an email address or change app data.
Future changes
If we add advertising technologies or cross-site tracking, we will update this policy and provide the relevant choice before enabling them. The waitlist and beta sign-up forms send the details you submit to our server; they are not a cookie or tracking technology. Its collection notice is located in our Privacy Policy.

Optional analytics remain off until you enable them in Privacy Settings. The browser-local mt_analytics_consent value records that explicit choice. An older opt-out preference alone does not enable analytics. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control continue to override an opt-in.
